Summer madness!

I'm so happy that school is starting up again. I'll definitely have things to jot down.
Choir is next week! After being apart from my choir for a semester, I'm overjoyed that I get to return! My bestie Tyler and I have been hanging out and catching up these past few weeks. He has been homebound most of the summer and just recently came back to TJC.

I helped him and his mom move the other day. It would have been pleasant if it wasn't 110 degrees outside. Not exactly great weather for unloading a huge truck.

I'm starting back up with my lj again so I don't know how much I'll be neglecting this blog. I'll try to update regularly. Obviously I'm not doing "Blog every day in August" which is okay by me because I still don't have any readers. I guess I keep wishing that people would just stumble across my posts and think I'm just slightly interesting enough to follow.

Oh well, a girl can dream.

Late as usual.

Apparently, August is "Blog every day in August" month. I was unaware of this so I'm starting naturally on the *checks* 5th instead of the first. Oops.

I know I still don't have any readers which I'm not technically complaining about. I keep a private journal as well as a livejournal online (one that actually has readers) so this is just a side project really.

I'll try to blog as much as possible this month. I can't promise much tonight as I am about to go and meet a friend, but I'm willing to post.

So, what's new? Well, school's about to start up again, the weather reminds me vaguely of a spa day on the sun, and I'm trying to maintain my sanity as these tedious last days of summer merge together into one, icky blah.

But otherwise, I'm doing fairly well. I'm working on my novel which I hope to have the first draft completed by next summer. It's easier for me to work if I have a deadline believe it or not. The whole story and backstory is plotted out in my head, I've been working on characterization and detail and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it all comes together.

I really am looking forward to November though. I'm trying to figure out which novel idea I'd like to use for NaNoWriMo this year since I didn't participate last year. I'm either doing Infatuation or another idea which currently doesn't have a title. Hm.

My 21st birthday is coming up in a few months. My best friend's 21st is at the end of this month. I'm not planning anything huge since I already know what alchohol tastes like (teehee) so maybe a night out with friends, or a trip to Dallas. Mom wants me to throw a dinner party since I love to cook for people but I dunno, I hate throwing parties especially for myself. (I like attending them though).

I'd like to start taking up photography. I don't know if I am any good at it but I've never given it a shot. It's an art that always appealed to me so why not start now?

Well, that's all that is on my mind at the current moment. I'll be sure to try to update this blog regularly...especially during school.
