Since no one is reading I might as well make some of these posts personal and whiny.
After all, that's the beauty of blogging right? You can blog about anything.
My brother and I are two completely different animals. I'm not exaggerating and now that he's entering puberty it's getting even more difficult to deal with him.
His childhood is absolutely nothing compared to mine. Whereas I delt with stupid hospitals on a regular basis, moving, teasing (at least I know my bullies are living miserable lives atm) and etc he just had to grow up. Oh boo hoo.
He complains about shit that makes him seem like a spoiled brat.
My parents were super strict on me growing up. Since I was the problem child, not really litterally speaking...I just had a lot of things going on in my child hood, my parents decided to be demanding, overbearing, and just plain intollerable.
Moving all the time didn't help my situation either. My brother and I have never had a stable relationship. We always fought even more than the average sibling rivalry.
He's just basically the type of idiot I couldn't stand when I was in middle school. The one who was concerned with labels and shallow things. I mean, don't get me wrong I can be shallow too. I like fashon enough and my friends say I have pretty good tastes in clothes. I like going shopping, I like fitting in with my friends. When it comes to dating, I'm pretty open. I'm straight, I tried the whole bicurious thing in high school and I'm not knocking it but it isn't for me. I like guys too much. Anyway, when I date a guy I like having fun. I don't pick out their flaws about their personality or anything. I can't help it if I've recently just been dating clingy psychos. How was I supposed to know?
Michael is just different. He hasn't had a hard life. He whines about stuff, he focuses too much on clothes and calling people weird just because they can't buy uniforms from brand name stores. I honestly want to punch him in his face on a daily basis because half the crap coming out of his mouth is ridiculous. His views on socializing are ridiculous, that you can only hang out with a particular crowd and anyone deemed unworthy is untouchable or something.
He has balls though, he knows how to stand up for himself which makes me proud. At least I don't have to stand up for him.
I'm just ranting because he irked me. Now I feel better and I know how to deal with our situation. At least he's in band camp the rest of the summer so I pretty much have the house to myself. (I need a job ugh)

Take Two
So, here I am again just posting away. Is it sad that I keep believing that someone out there is actually reading? :)
Well, even if I am talking to myself I find it quite awesome how many people actually blog on this great, wonderous interweb. I silently follow many of the fiveawesomegirls, and now that I actually have a blog I can encourage them with loud comments to update. I'm actually very excited about this.
I keep looking at other blogs just in case one catches my eye. Although, many are family blogs and while I think that's spiffy in it's own way I'm not really willing to comment on some random person's blog about their vacation to Switzerland.
If there is anyone out there in cyberland who is actually reading this, do you know of any modern, regular teen blogs that I could possibly follow? I'd appreciate a suggestion. The fiveawesomegirls (Kristina, Lauren, Kayley, Hayley, and Liane) are indeed awesome but I feel the urge to comment upon a random subject if you will.
Here's hoping that my blog will actually have readers one day!
Now, on to me. Life is actually pretty awesome. I'm just waiting for fall to start up again because I'm actually going through education withdrawls. I moved away to Witchita Falls to live with my best friend and her husband a few months ago so I took a break from college. Needless to say, it wasn't my best idea and now that I'm back living with my parents I just can't wait to finish college.
I am also currently focusing on finishing my novel by next year. I've been working on it for a while now and the plot itself is pretty complicated. I'm in love with my characters and I am so proud of the way it is turning out.
My little brother just came trotting in in his bathing suit which means it's time for me to head on over to the pool. I love the internet but I love taking advantage of summer even more. :)

First blog! How exciting!!!
I am not really new to the internet world, but I am new to this website so...that counts for a cookie, right?
I feel like I have to introduce myself. I am up at an ungodly hour which means I'm a bit more giggly than usual. I apologize in advance for this. :)
My name is Symone. Pronounced exactly as that one singer/actress-chick Raven-Symone. Yes, I spell my name with a Y. It usually astounds people when I spell out my name. They expect it to be: Simone. Or even better: Simon.
I really don't have much to report. I'm 20 years old, going into yet another year of college. I don't exactly know when I'll be done with my BA in English. Aaaand like the song states "What do you dooooo with a BA in English? What is my life going to be?"
I plan on writing if that wasn't obvious already. I'm going to take a Journalism class this semester to remember if I loved it in high school or not. I think I just didn't like my teacher or something...but this is COLLEGE journalism so...
I'm not going to be finished with my education when I finish TJC (That's Tyler Junior College for all you peeps who aren't familiar with the acronym.) I don't know where I am going to wind up after junior college. I was thinking the Air Force. No, seriously.
I keep a fairly regular blog on livejournal: saslovesfood. I just used to use it for fandom purposes. I adore a lot of books, television, cartoons, and anime. I am a very social butterfly. I love cooking. I am one of THOSE types who adores watching cooking shows for fun rather than for information. Sure, I love attaining knowledge from these said cooking shows but really I just get a kick seeing how many different styles of cooking people actually have.
That being said, I am a huge sucker for Italian food. I'd love to eat my way through Italy one day.
I don't know exactly how I'm going to gain readers for this blog. On livejournal, I started off with a few of my friends friending me so I wouldn't feel like I was talking to myself. It doesn't phase me, I usually find blogging theraputic so I'm very pleased I have a chace to finally start a professional looking one (even if it really isn't professional).
